Shaoguan Holds Special Meeting Soliciting Views on Its 15th Five-Year Plan; Wen Hongfu Invited to Attend and Speak
On December 2, Chen Shaorong, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, presided over the meeting to listen to the opinions and suggestions of county and town party committee secretaries, non-party personages, experts in the economic and social fields, and grassroots representatives on the preparation of Shaoguan's "15th Five-Year Plan", and emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the Party. The spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and conscientiously implement the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on doing a good job in the preparation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" plan. At the meeting, representatives of county (city, district) party committee secretaries, township (sub-district) party committee secretaries, representatives of non-party people, representatives of experts in the economic and social fields, and representatives at the grassroots level took the overall development of the city, based on advantageous areas, and focused on key issues. Opinions and suggestions were put forward to better promote high-quality development in Shaoguan during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The participants also had sufficient exchanges and discussions.
Chen Shaorong listened carefully to everyone's speeches and asked relevant departments to carefully sort out and draw inferences from one example, place Shaoguan's work in the overall situation of the whole province, and fully study the opinions and suggestions of relevant representatives on the development of big data, non-ferrous metals, new materials and other industries. It has an important position as a link between the past and the future. It is of great significance and far-reaching impact to do a good job in the preparation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" plan. All relevant departments at all levels must take a clear-cut stand in politics, thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with China Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and firmly support the "two establishments" and resolutely achieve "two safeguards". Implement the entire process and all aspects of the preparation of the "10th Five-Year Plan" in our city, and effectively unify thoughts and actions with the strategic deployment of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee on the development of the "10th Five-Year Plan". It is necessary to scientifically and systematically prepare plans, anchor the strategic positioning assigned by the provincial party committee, stand high and look far, emancipate the mind, and closely focus on the implementation of the Party Central Committee's decision-making arrangements, the provincial party committee's "1310" specific arrangements, and the municipal party committee's "363" work arrangements. In-depth research in one field, forward-looking plan strategic tasks to lead the city's development in the next five years, reasonably determine goals and tasks, propose ideas and measures, and comprehensively improve the scientificity, pertinence and operability of the plan. It is necessary to strengthen overall coordination, tighten the responsibilities of work, and ensure that good plans with Shaoguan characteristics, pragmatism and effectiveness are prepared on time and in good quality.
