Chairman Wen Hongfu Attends the Municipal Government–ABC Guangdong "Hundred, Thousand, Ten Thousand" Project Meeting and Signs a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On December 6, 2023, Chairman Wen Hongfu attended the "Hundred Million Project" meeting between the municipal government and the Agricultural Bank of China Guangdong Province Branch, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Chen Shaorong, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Wang Dajun, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Agricultural Bank of China's Guangdong Province Branch, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches; Mayor Chen Zhiqing presided over the ceremony.

President Wang Dajun said that Shaoguan has successfully seized major national strategic opportunities in recent years and has broad prospects for future development. Agricultural Bank of China will provide investment and financing support of no less than 30 billion yuan in the next five years, promote high-quality investment promotion, and help Shaoguan introduce a number of industrial projects with large size and new technologies; promote new industrialization, build on the advantages of traditional industries, cultivate the momentum of emerging industries, strengthen the foundation of the real economy, and accelerate and empower Shaoguan's high-quality development.

Secretary Chen Shaorong welcomed the arrival of President Wang Dajun and his party, and expressed gratitude to Agricultural Bank of China Guangdong Province Branch for its continuous support for Shaoguan's development. He pointed out that Shaoguan has a rich industrial heritage and abundant resources. It is currently making every effort to promote the "One Hundred Million Project", insist on taking the lead in the manufacturing industry, strive to create a number of characteristic and advantageous industrial clusters, and build a strong pillar of Shaoguan's modern industries. It is hoped that Agricultural Bank will continue to improve the financial service system, enrich product supply, continue to increase credit to Shaoguan's real economy, major projects, etc., and empower the high-quality development of Shaoguan's industry with financial "living water".

At the ceremony, Shaoguan City Branch of Agricultural Bank of China signed cooperation contracts with key enterprises such as Omat Advanced Materials (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. High-tech Materials Co., Ltd., with a contract amount exceeding 8.7 billion yuan.
