Sun Guosheng, Deputy Party Secretary of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Visits Omat

On April 17, Sun Guosheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, led a team of experts from the School of Materials Science and Engineering to visit Guangdong Omat Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Omat Advanced Materials"). Wen Hongfu, Chairman and General Manager of Omat Advanced Materials, held in-depth exchanges with Sun Guosheng's party on talent cultivation, research collaboration, internships and employment, and accompanied them on a tour of the Mingyue Lake high-purity materials project for semiconductor applications and Guangdong Omat Advanced Metal Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Omat Copper").

Sun Guosheng expressed his admiration for the breakthrough achievements Omat Advanced Materials has made in the new materials field. He introduced that Wuhan University of Science and Technology has deep accumulation in metallurgical engineering, metal materials, and other fields, which highly aligns with Omat Advanced Materials' industrial development direction. Chairman Wen Hongfu welcomed Sun Guosheng's party and gave a detailed introduction to Omat Advanced Materials' development history, core technology layout, and industrial planning after its listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market). He pointed out that, as a national "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in specialization, refinement, differentiation, and innovation, the company is currently at a critical period of deepening its expansion into high-purity metal materials and integrated-circuit targets. There is an urgent demand for high-level applied talents in metal materials, metallurgical engineering, and other majors.
