Omat Indium Awarded "Outstanding Contribution to Industrial Development" Honor

On January 30, the Shaoguan Indium and Scattered Rare Metals Industry Association's 2025 Annual Meeting and Industry Investment Promotion Conference, themed "Indium Gathers in Shaoguan, Chains the World," was held at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Data Application Industrial Park. At the meeting, Guangdong Omat Indium Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Omat Indium"), for its important contributions to advancing Shaoguan's indium and scattered rare metals industry, was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Contribution Enterprise in Industrial Development" by the Shaoguan Indium and Scattered Rare Metals Industry Association.

In 2025, Omat Indium deepened its R&D efforts and tackled product upgrades, achieving a series of breakthroughs. Among them, ITO targets for G10.5-generation lines, barrier-layer targets for G8.5-generation lines, and OMHT high-efficiency targets for heterojunction (HJT) cells have all entered mass production and are being stably and batch-supplied to leading industry players. In addition, Omat Indium has built a complete industrial chain spanning indium-bearing material recycling—refining—stable supply of high-purity indium ingots—ITO sputtering target production, achieving the circular use of the precious scattered rare metal indium, and has made outstanding contributions to advancing Shaoguan's indium and scattered rare metals industry in technological innovation, market expansion, and industrial upgrading.
