Omat’s Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Study Visit Concludes Successfully

In order to enhance mutual understanding between companies in Shenzhen and Shao and explore cooperation opportunities in the field of new materials, Omat Advanced Materials went to Shenzhen Special Economic Zone for a two-day inspection and exchange from March 10 to 11, 2025. The trip was led by Lu Chunyan, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC of Shaoguan City, Huang Peng, Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Shaoguan City, and Zhao Zhengyuan, Vice President of Guangdong Carbon Neutralization Research Institute (Shaoguan)、Wen Hongfu, Chairman of Omat Advanced Materials, and other comrades participated in the inspection. The purpose is to investigate the advanced experience of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in enterprise introduction, talent support, and park construction, and explore the establishment of a cooperation mechanism between high-tech enterprises and scientific research institutions in Shenzhen and Shenzhen in the field of new materials.

On the afternoon of March 10, the delegation came to the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone. Wen Wei, deputy mayor of Futian District, warmly received the inspection group in the exhibition hall and accompanied them on the visit. Later, at the symposium, the two sides held in-depth discussions on the talent introduction policy of the cooperation zone.

On the morning of March 11, the delegation came to Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, China Academy of Sciences. Bi Yalei, assistant to the president of the Advanced Institute and director of the Development Department, received the inspection delegation and accompanied him to visit the exhibition hall of the Institute. At the symposium, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as the construction of joint R & D platforms and talent introduction in the field of new materials, and reached a number of cooperation intentions.

This inspection and exchange activity not only enhanced the understanding between companies in Shenzhen and Shaozhou, but also provided Oolai New Materials with valuable experience and cooperation opportunities in technological innovation, talent introduction and industrial upgrading.
